Lights & Shadows

As lead designer on a 20-person collaborative UE5 project, I was responsible for directing the team and managing the scope of the project. On top of this position of leadership, my main contribution was creating design documentation, designing and creating levels and implementing UI - among other jobs, such as making the music.

This Town Ain’t Big Enough

For my final year project, I decided to create a multiplayer cowboy FPS. It is my first experience with network scripting, with Photon in Unity. Creating a multiplayer game provides new and interesting challenges, especially when it comes to scripting.

Ulysses

Worked with a collaborator to create a horror game set in an asylum. I was in charge of gameplay design / scripting, and decided to limit the player to rotating the camera with arrow keys to remove control from the player, giving the game a more claustrophobic atmosphere.

I’m happy with the AI I created for the creepy clown which chases and teleports around the player. At the time I had a lot less experience with scripting AI, and after doing an AI module third year of university, there are aspects I’d do differently.

Photo Girl

In my final project for my HNC year of college, I decided to create a 2D game as normally I focus on creating 3D games. The titular character collects clues through diving into a series of photographs hung on the wall of an apartment. When it comes to creating art for 2D projects, I would definitely experiment with creating pixel art sprites again as I enjoyed it a lot on this project.
